Vision Remote Fob System
Some Toyota (and a few Kia) did not come with a remote central locking option from the factory. When these vehicles were imported, Toyota Australia installed remote system known as "Vision".
Consider this a ex factory-aftermarket installation.
This was a unit installed under the dashboard and included a remote fob.

- Unlock the doors using the transmitter.
- Within 20 sec of unlocking, insert the key into the ignition switch, turn the ignition key from OFF to ON at least 20 times, leaving the key in the OFF position after the 20 turn. Taking longer than 20 sec will not allow programming mode entry.
- The vehicle's indicators will flash 20 times to indicate successful entry.
- After the 20 flash of the indicators, press the button once on each transmitter.
- Once finished, turn the ignition key to the ON position to save the transmitter information and exit from the programming mode.
If no functional remotes are available:
- Ensure a door is open.
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable, wait minimum 5 sec, then reconnect. If the alarm begins to sound, complete the MANUAL OVERRIDE procedure.
- Within 20 sec of reconnecting the battery cable, insert the key into ignition then turn the key from OFF to ON at least 20 times, leaving the key in the OFF position after the 20 turn. Taking longer than 20 sec will not allow programming mode entry.

- After the 20 flash of the indicators, press the button once on each transmitter.
- Once finished, turn the ignition key to the ON position to save the transmitter information and exit from the programming mode.
Manual override
If the alarm system is armed but the wireless door lock transmitter is lost or inoperable, the alarm may be manually overriden.
During this procedure the alarm will sound. Ignore this and continue with the procedure.
- Unlock the driver's door using the ignition key.
- Using the ignition key, quickly turn the ignition switch from ACC to ON position 10 times. Leave the ignition OFF after the 10 turn and wait for the horn to stop sounding. If the system fails to override after horn stops, re-cycle the ignition 10 times then wait for the horn to stop.
