We’re writing with a short message to update you about LSC’s response to the latest round of Victorian Government business restrictions.

LSC’s Distribution Centre in Melbourne is open and is processing orders.

LSC is a supplier to locksmiths and the security industry - who in turn supply permitted industries including emergency services, critical infrastructure, defence, health care and others, and is therefore permitted to operate.

We’ve introduced additional hygiene procedures to keep our team even safer, and we’ve split our shifts to reduce the on-site headcount at any one time. Our overall capacity is not reduced and we are here to process your order quickly as usual.

Our freight partners have confirmed they expect no significant delays or disruption to freight entering or departing Victoria, despite the further closure of state borders. Minor delays are possible due to the volume of online sales & deliveries which are booming and stretching carrier resources nationally.

We take the chance to remind all customers to keep safe, continue social distancing and hygiene measures – we’re hoping the rest of Australia doesn’t find itself in the unfortunate situation our team in Melbourne are facing.

LSC is open, VIC GOVERNMENT STAGE 4 COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

Following the recent announcements from the Victorian Government, we thought it is important to provide an update about the Victorian Branch of LSC.

LSC’s North Melbourne location will remain OPEN for Contactless Click & Collect orders, as Locksmithing and Security are defined as critical industries, and the supply chains that support them are permitted to remain open with Covid-19 safety plans in place. Our hours for collection have been adjusted to 8.00am – 4.00pm until further notice

We do not foresee any major disruption to our immediate supply for pick up orders.

We’re writing with a short note to confirm LSC’s Distribution Centre in Melbourne is open and is processing orders normally.

Our freight partners have confirmed they expect no significant delays or disruption to freight entering or departing Victoria, despite the reintroduction of Covid-19 restrictions in Melbourne and the further closure of state borders. Freight and logistics are essential services, and our partners have the relevant approvals and permits to keep things moving.

We’ve implemented a wide range of measures to keep our own team in Victoria safe, and our sites up and running.

Due to the local lockdown announcement made by the Victorian Government on 5 July 2020, our North Melbourne showroom will temporarily only be offering click & collect services. Our Click & Collect Counter is a quick and easy way to pick up your orders, you can place your orders via phone, email and on our website. Web orders take approx. 1 hour to process before collection.

Please note, we have a reduced amount of customer service team members in the building with several team members working remotely. All enquiries and product assistance will need to be done through the above methods rather than face-to-face.

All orders that are delivered via our freight providers will continue unchanged. I also invite customers to take advantage of our FREE delivery service for all orders over $150.

These measures are being implemented to ensure the safety of our customers and staff, thank you for your continued support and understanding.

As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 crisis, our greatest priority is the health and safety of our team members, customers and the wider community. As restrictions have eased locally over the past week, we are excited to announce that our Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide & Auckland branches and showrooms are now open.

To help make it safer, we’ve introduced several measures to help us maintain an appropriate distance from each other while in-store. These include:

Limit number of customers in-store at any given

Our branch will have signage displayed with the max capacity allowed in-store at any one time. If the branch has reached capacity, the number of customers will be managed using a one in, one out policy.

Use sanitiser upon entering the store

Hand sanitiser stations will be placed in the showrooms which you’ll be required to use before entering the store.

Maintain 1.5 metres apart from each other where possible

Social distancing markers will be placed around the branch in areas where you may be required to queue.

Use EFTPOS/payWave/Tap n Go services available

We strongly encourage you to use your card or phone to tap and pay instead of cash, whenever possible.

Regular cleaning routines throughout the entire store

We apply the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene across our stores. We have increased the routine cleaning of frequently touched hard surfaces.

We will review and adapt these in-store measures as the situation evolves. Thank you for playing your part in helping us practice social distancing! We appreciate your continued support as we work through this together.

LSC - it's business as usual- just in an unusual way

LSC is committed to ensuring the health and welfare of our team members, customers, family and friends. We are regularly communicating with our employees on best hygiene practices, remote working capabilities, and our warehouse teams to maintain the safe distance to better protect the health of our team members. We are emphasising proper hygiene in the warehouses, including the use of frequent hand washing, and are ensuring our employees have proper sanitisation and safety equipment. Our existing flexible “Work From Home” policies have enabled our office and field-based teams to work remotely while maintaining business continuity. Our sales and technical support teams continue to serve you, orders can be made via phone, fax & email and orders can be placed online 24/7 at www.lsc.com.au

Important Branch Updates

Friday 27 March, 2020

From Monday 30 of March, all Australian branches (VIC, NSW, QLD, SA and WA) will no longer accept walk-in counter sales. Showrooms at each of these branches will be temporarily closed from Monday onward.

These measures have been implemented to ensure we play our part in reducing the possible spread of COVID-19 as instructed by the government.

All orders will need to be placed via the following methods before goods can be collected;

  • Place orders online via our website www.lsc.com.au
  • Place a phone order
  • Send an order via email
  • Send an order via fax
  • Place an order with your Account Manager

Orders can be collected at the branch from the following pickup areas:

  • VIC - Right hand side car park roller door.
  • NSW - Roller door
  • SA - Roller door off Power Street
  • QLD - Parcel pickups window in the loading dock (next door at 15 Jeays Street, Bowen Hills)
  • WA - Roller door on the other side of the building

COVID-19 update from LSC: We are here to help you.

Wednesday 18th March, 2020

The health and welfare of our team members, customers, family and friends are our number one priority at LSC.

We are closely monitoring the situation around-the-clock, and while these are challenging times for our industry, please know that we are doing everything we can to minimise the impact on our customers.

Based on the advice given by the government, regarding reducing personal contact, it is recommended;

  • Shop online at lsc.com.au for fast delivery
  • Call ahead for quick pick up at your local LSC Showroom
  • Phone or email your local Branch or Account Manager

Our multiple warehouse and delivery services also continue to operate unaffected. We have great stock levels around the country and our supply from overseas has had little impact.

At present, we have had no reports of any staff members or visitors displaying symptoms of COVID-19 and have put the following measures in place:

  • All staff have been briefed on best hygiene practices
  • In-person meetings and team events will be limited
  • Should it become necessary our sales and technical support teams can work from home to continue to serve you
  • As we have multiple warehouses we have plans in place to continue to supply should a warehouse need to close
